Phrases: children dressed in long wool coats/in the setting sun/ colorful butterflies/ yaks and sheep eating green grass
Sentences: (simile)
1) Our legs were so heavy and cold that they felt like blocks of ice.(so…that…/feel like…)
2) Have you ever seen snowmen riding bicycles? That’s what we looked like.
3) However, the lake shone like glass in the setting sun and looked wonderful.
2. Ability goals
Students will learn how to describe what they see and feel during their trip so as to get them prepared for the task in next class---writing a travel journal

Students will learn to appreciate the beauty of the English language through reading and describing the beautiful pictures using beautiful words and expressions.

3. Read and find the phrases in the passage to describe the pictures.
4. Game: Describe and guess.
5. Read and underline the sentences of similes.
6. Write some similar sentences to describe the beautiful pictures.
7. Conclusion.
